LILY BENNETT-CALLAND

HAIR TYPE

 
A typographic set that explores the way we have control over our bodies, collaborating with my friend Lu. A blend of our chosen themes (control and the body). Our specifications were: ‘typographic’, ‘size extra extra small’ and ‘photocopy’.

We cut and arranged hair to create a typeface that had an ‘extra extra’ small weight. We stuck hairs down with tape and then photocopied the outcome, before arranging the type into sentences related to the theme.
