VALENTINE’S DAY 


‘Valentine’s Day’ is a publication exploring the control February 14th has over us, our relationships and the language we use within these relationships. I purchased a job lot of over 40 V-day cards and examined the language used, cutting up and collaging the snippets I found.

The clippings were scanned and layed out as a record of findings, with some pages exploring the juxtaposition of language and imagery found between these cards.

The publication was printed with a blue gradient on pink paper stock, with spiral bound to finish.
