YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH

‘You are not good enough’ is a book inspired by imposter syndrome, at the time something which I was struggling with greatly. The book was based off the statistic that “the creative arts and design industry has the highest rate of imposter syndrome across all sectors, affecting nearly 87%”.

In light of this message, I created a book with 87 pages of ‘fuck this’ and 13 pages of ‘I got this’, representing the creatives on both sides. Each page of type has a frame, something that can be seen as an ironic dressing up of such a blunt message, or perhaps a mirror, reflecting the ‘fuck this’ feeling of imposter syndrome.

The book was perfectly bound in neon card, created with a neon boxset with a stencil of the same name.
